Mayfield's Media Center

Our goal in the Media Center is to provide an environment that assists students in becoming life long learners.
We provide over 17,000 titles for leisure reading and reference needs. Included are titles in Spanish, French, and German.
Computers are provided for word processing and computer-based research.
Pass words for remote access to databases may be obtained from Ms. Mabrey or Ms. Rodriguez.

Students may check out any 3 items for a two week period. Additional services include photocopying, access to the Educational Service Center for laminating services, ordering kits, videos, an inter-library loan program with other LCPS libraries
(Thomas Branigan Library, Dona Ana Community College, and New Mexico State University Library) and math tutors.

The Media Center houses Mayfield's Career Resource Center where students may complete career interest inventories, compile their resume, and perform Internet research for projects relating to their career goals.
You are invited to visit the CRC at any time.

The Media Center is open from 8:00 - 4:20 each school day.
Students are invited in to read, research, study, or find a quiet place to just hang out. Any student visiting during class hours
must have a teacher's pass or an off-campus pass.
